Rob Strauss Speaks to Wall Street Journal About Mistakes to Avoid Before Retirement
Rob Strauss recently spoke with Cheryl Winokur Munk for a Wall Street Journal article about common financial mistakes that individuals should be careful to avoid as they approach retirement.
Rob advises that the closer one gets to retirement, the more careful they should be about overindulging their children. He shares an example of one individual who has been so generous with one of his adult children that he’s been forced to work well into what would be his retirement.
“He’s using his salary to support himself and one of his kids,” Rob tells WSJ. “If he didn’t have to support them, he could have retired already.”
