Blake Rummel Quoted in Wealth Management Article Examining What’s Left of Jeffrey Epstein’s Estate
Blake Rummel recently spoke with Wealth Management about what remains of Jeffrey Epstein’s once substantial estate, which included significant assets such as global real estate and was valued at an estimated $600 million at the time of his death. The article examines how legal fees, ongoing litigation, and settlements with Epstein’s sexual abuse victims have already totaled $400 million with more to come. It is reported that $9 million has been paid out to the legal team responsible for establishing and overseeing the victims’ restitution fund and another $21 million to law firms for their services and expenses.
“It’s not surprising the fees and expenses are astronomical, given what’s at stake, including managing an island, etc.,” noted Blake. When considering the exorbitant legal costs, she also shared, “I would suspect the estate is being supervised by the courts, meaning that legal fees are subject to court approval.”
