Robert Strauss Quoted in The Wirecutter
Rob Strauss was quoted as an expert in The Wirecutter’s “Dear Wirecutter” segment, in which readers can submit questions about topics ranging from technology products to personal finance. In the segment, The Wirecutter took a question from a reader about whether or not it is possible to transfer credit card reward points from a decedent’s credit card account prior to the account being closed. According to Rob, credit card reward points can be given to a named beneficiary as specified in a Will (or Trust) like any other assets. The credit card company should be contacted by the Executor/Trustee to request that the reward points be transferred to the rightful beneficiary.
